Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision

I am an approved clinical supervisor in Idaho, offering supervision to Idaho-based supervisees working toward licensure. My supervisory approach is supportive, growth-oriented, and tailored to each supervisee’s developmental needs.

Licensing & Credentials

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University and a Master of Science in Applied Nutrition from the University of New England.

In addition to my academic background, I completed supervised training as a Marriage and Family Therapist and have worked in the field since 2009. I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for nine years and am currently licensed in:

  • Arizona (LMFT-16237)

  • California (LMFT 93755)

  • Idaho (LMFT 8604)

  • Montana (BBH-LMFT-LIC-72958)

I have also provided clinical supervision in California, working with Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs).

Supervision Style & Model

I take a Holistic approach to supervision, incorporating elements of Developmental and Interactional Models to create a collaborative, supportive, and individualized experience. My focus is on:

  • Building trust and safety within the supervisory relationship

  • Tailoring supervision to each supervisee’s growth and skill level

  • Encouraging reflective practice and ethical decision-making

  • Fostering clinical confidence and professional integrity

Supervision should be a dynamic, reciprocal process that promotes self-awareness and clinical competence. Through open dialogue and case consultation, I help supervisees develop their clinical voice, integrate evidence-based interventions, and navigate the complexities of therapeutic work.

Professional Disclosure

I work with individual adults (18+) and specialize in trauma-focused therapies. I am a certified EMDR and Brainspotting therapist, and my approach integrates:

  • EMDR

  • Brainspotting

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Somatic interventions

  • Elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and ego-oriented strategies

I also incorporate nutritional psychology, drawing from my MS in Applied Nutrition to explore the connection between diet and mental health. While I do not treat medical conditions nutritionally in my role as an LMFT, I provide education on how factors like skipping meals can affect mood stability and anxiety levels.

I do not supervise or provide treatment in areas outside my professional competence.

If you are seeking clinical supervision in Idaho and are interested in working with a supportive, engaged, and ethically grounded supervisor, I would be happy to discuss how we can work together.
